Fun4U ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at fun4u.app ("the Service"). By using Fun4U, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account details: name, email address or phone number, and password when you register.
  • Profile data: age, preferred learning mode (Kid or Legend), and avatar.
  • Payment information: when you upgrade to Premium, payment is processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your card number or CVV — only the subscription status and Razorpay order ID.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: courses viewed, lessons completed, quiz scores, XP earned, game sessions played.
  • Device data: browser type, operating system, IP address, and pages visited — used to improve performance and security.
  • Cookies & local storage: we use browser local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and personalise the learning experience (XP, badges, streaks, leaderboard).
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send important account notifications (password reset, payment receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
  • To improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

3. Children's Privacy

Fun4U's Kid Mode is designed for children aged 8 and above. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information from children under 13 beyond what is necessary to provide the service. Kid Mode accounts do not show advertisements. Parents or guardians can request deletion of a child's account and all associated data by contacting us at support@prosperawealth.ai.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Razorpay — payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's own privacy policy.
  • Microsoft Azure — our infrastructure provider (cloud hosting, database, storage) located in India data centres.
  • Legal obligations — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers in India. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; however, we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data via your Profile settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data. You can do this from your Profile page or by emailing us.
  • Withdraw consent to optional data processing at any time.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes, retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax law).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
